Change of Time

I never understood the real meaning of this song...whether Josh Ritter was happy or sad about the change of time. But the melody is so melancholic it draws me even as I struggled to relate. I remember listening to this everytime I drove home at night from the office, triggering emo time amidst the EDSA traffic.
