Grooveshark. A moment of silence.

OMG. OMG. OMG.

OMG.

Grooveshark.com has shut down!

What will happen to me now?

Today I went to their website like my usual pre-shower routine and I was greeted with this:

My life is ruined. Grooveshark has been my only go-to website when I'm tired of the repetitive songs on the radio... or of the songs on my own iPod. Grooveshark let me choose my own songs and create my own playlist... and it let me add or remove songs on my playlist easily without having to stop my streaming. I had been a subscriber at Grooveshark since 2009. It is the only user-friendly music streaming site one can ever find. I mean, 8tracks limits you to the songs on one playlist and you can't even add several other playlists on your lineup...and you can only skip songs up to 3 times. Just like Spotify or Last.fm or whatever other sites there are out there. :(

I am truly heartbroken. What will I listen to now when I'm in the shower? ANSWER ME. WHAT NOW? (I know you want to ask why in the shower of all places, but maybe I'll explain some other time in another entry).

It was good while it lasted. Grooveshark, my friend, you have given me the most freedom as far as music streamings go. Rest in peace.
