falling leaves

the sun shines, it rains again

footsteps

forward

wind chimes,

the rhythm starts

daylight

breaks out

painful heat,

breathing out

radio

tuned in

or tuned out

of melody

windows

opened

curtains fall

unbrightened room

books left

unread

til morning comes

I wait for you

green leaves

falling leaves

sun shines,

it rains again…
